out-of-town friends. (Sounds kind of like a rehearsal dinner?)

The 50th Anniversary Party was on June 11 at a lovely old home,
now a B&B, The General's Quarters. Guests at the party check out
a photo collage Elaine (with glitter and glue assistance from Hank and
William) put together for the party.
